Dogwise Daycare offers behaviour consulations in collaboration with ‘Pawly Understood’, a veterinary consulting service that offers to help people with pets that suffer behavioural problems.
ABOUT PAWLY UNDERSTOOD
Pawly Understood diagnose and treat pets with behaviour disorders using scientific, up-to-date, evidence-based and ethical approaches. Unfortunately, behaviour disorders are extremely common in pets. In fact, 1 in 5 pets are affected by an anxiety disorder, such as separation anxiety, excessive barking or jumping. Pawly Understood knows how distressing this can be for pets and their people.
It is a sad and confronting fact that behavioural problems are the number one terminal illness of dogs in Australia. Where behaviour issues exist, there is often a lack of understanding of what is going on and why it is occurring. This can lead to animals never getting the help and treatment they need or even worse, receiving unethical, damaging and dangerous forms of treatment and training from unqualified personnel.
